He brings a rich blend of commercial and personal experience and a proven track record in delivering successful results on a global scale.


John Penniston

Commissioning Manager (Scotland)

John has 28 years experience in the Royal Navy as an Engineering Officer and Senior Manager, spanning the build, commissioning and operation of nuclear submarines, decommissioning of reactors in London, MoD procurement,  and partnering with industry in Naval Bases. He has harnessed these skills in to the Commissioning Management role for Scotland. Aside from Sailing on, Diving under or Working adjacent to water, the connection with the Water Industry was not made until 2007. A short period of commissioning support at a WTW quickly lead to discussions and proposals about the development of a Commissioning and Technical Support service for CNM in Scotland. The strength and growth of this development has been his ability to understand the Water Industry and through his involvement, to deliver solutions to complex challenges across a range of projects. John has made it his aim to establish a name and reputation for CNM Scotland, that makes it the company of choice for Commissioning Service within the Scottish Water Industry.


Andrew Rogers

Commissioning Manager (Aus)

Recently completing a successful role as Commissioning Manager for the Southern Regional Water Pipeline Alliance; one of the largest water infrastructure projects in Australia, Andrew Rogers has since joined CN management in a senior role to guide their Queensland operations. With an extensive knowledge of water and waste water processes,  Andrews awareness and experience within the Australian Water Industry is highly valued and recognized. Prior to his position at SRWP, Andrew held the role of Operations Manager at Brisbane Water which saw his involvement in several alliance projects as well as being named Project Manager for the restructure of Brisbane Water. A self-starter and conscientious team oriented member, Andrew is an instrumental part of the CN people.


André Bosch

OM Technical Manager (Aus)

Backed by extensive experience in the maintenance, construction and telecommunication industry, André Bosch is passionate about using his skills to deliver quality products that are easy to use and that provide a positive effect on Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Bosch’s recent position as Commissioning Documentation Leader with the SRWPA saw the successful delivery of O&M documentation to its client, Linkwater. Bosch has experience in the development of Maintenance Strategies and the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as the vehicle to deliver the vision of various service and manufacturing industries. Prior positions included Maintenance Engineer for Brisbane Water, John Holland Constructions, Capral Aluminium and Boral Plasterboard. A member of the Maintenance Engineering Society of Australia, Bosch adds a dynamic approach to CNG’s offerings.


Dave Woolloff

Chemical/Process Manager

Dave Woolloff, has over 30 years experience in the Drinking Water Industry. After graduating from Brunel University in Industrial Chemistry, Dave joined Degremont Laing as a Water Treatment Chemist before moving to Yorkshire Water where he worked for 28 years, starting as Principal Scientific Officer and then progressing to Science Manager and then onto Manager of Water Quality. Dave has a proven track record as a nationally recognised technical specialist, operational manager and expert in water quality regulation and compliance, crisis management and business continuity planning. His long experience both in the field and the boardroom helps give CN Group a unique ability to understand and meet the many challenges that are faced when managing drinking water quality both in the UK and internationally.


Alan Provan

PLC/Engineering Engineer

Alan Provan has over 10 years technical experience & 5 years in the Drinking Water Industry. Since graduating from Cambuslang College in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Alan has been extensively involved in several variations of technical roles which include the fault diagnosis and repair of field Telecommunications networks, to the design, installation and maintenance of Telemetry Systems fitted throughout Scottish Waters network of Sewage & Water Treatment Plants. Alan has a proven technical ability with various types of instrumentation used within the water treatment industry, and his experience in the field gives the CN Group the ability to meet the many technical challenges they face during the commissioning stage of Water treatment facilities both in the UK and internationally.
